The Role As a Offshore Structural Engineer with Worley, you will work closely with our existing team to deliver projects for our clients while continuing to develop your skills and experience etc. To produce structural/system models on Sesam GeniE, FEMAP, STAAD-Pro, and SACS. Also, should have fair knowledge in developing the local calculations using spreadsheets/Mathcad etc. Knowledge of writing Java scripts for Sesam GeniE is preferred. Structural analysis for New platform/ platform modification. Manage structural engineering design and any design changes within budget and schedule. Promote cost reduction and productivity enhancing initiatives. Technical supervision of project designated structural designers and draftsmen in the execution of their duties. Benchmark structural design/drafting to identify areas of improvements. Quality Assurance Responsible for working within the provisions and guidelines of the Quality Assurance system relevant to the Project. Applicants require experience in working in a structural engineering team within a large multi discipline project team. The role mandates previous experience in minimum facility platform design and including the substructure, topsides and bridges. A comprehensive understanding of structural analysis in the areas of dynamic loading, collapse analysis, spectral fatigue analysis, fire and explosion design, dropped object etc. Conversant with API, DNV, AISC, BS codes.
