Job Description

Degree from NIFT/ FDDI( Leather Design) or Bachelor Degree from other institutes/ Universities. Department: Sales/ Marketing, BD Experience: Minimum 3 -8 years in Merchandising in Leather Goods manufacturing/ Export Company. Knowledge in Leather products (pref: Bags/ SLG) is a must. The person should have hands on experience in handling clients and order execution. Key skills: Good communication skills . Proficiency in English language (both verbal and written). Good Interpersonal Skills. Good grasp in MS Office. Identification of new market and clients by doing market research on overseas market. To keep a track of the market trends of leather goods brands in international market To understand the clients requirements and proper planning to meet the requirement within stipulated time Coordination with different departments, production for timely shipment of samples/ bulk orders Negotiate with clients on terms of delivery. Assist the HOD to communicate with potential clients and follow up on the actions for timely execution of order To meet the target as per annual financial budget Responsible to complete each step of order execution with proper planning and make sure to organize to all requisites for on time shipment of the order Need to handle necessary documentation related to freight charges and other requirements
