Basic knowledge of GD&T & Tolerance stack up, Material Selection, Manufacturing processes (metals & plastics); Prototyping (including 3D printing in Metal & Plastics) Verification & Validation, Basic DHF Documentation. Prior experience in an Innovation project is preferred. Candidates with patents in their name will be preferred. Skills Required Academics requirements: BE or B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering / Mechatronics Engineering, knowledge in Solid Works / On-shape / any similar CAD platform Relevant Experience required: Basic knowledge of GD&T & Tolerance stack up, Material Selection, Manufacturing processes (metals & plastics); Prototyping (including 3D printing in Metal & Plastics) Verification & Validation, Basic DHF Documentation. Role and Responsibility Product Design in a CAD environment (2D & 3D) CAE/analysis with basis design calculation Concept Generation to Proof of Concept Design of Experiments Generating broad engineering specifications Generating documents for transfer to Engineering team Other Requirements On time completion of assignments Daily reporting to Project Lead/Supervisor Must maintain utmost secrecy Proactive in learning Must have strong urge for problem solving
