Job Description

Role & responsibilities:

This position manages all inventory movement for a medical device distribution company from receiving products from brand partners to dispatching them to hospitals across India.

Day-to-day responsibilities include:

Maintaining stock records for all medical devices in the warehouse and at hospital consignment accounts
Tracking batch numbers and expiry dates for every SKU; ensuring timely rotation and replenishment
Raising purchase orders to brand partners and following up on inbound shipments
Recording GRN entries in Tally and verifying delivery against purchase orders
Generating delivery challans and coordinating hospital-wise dispatch with complete batch traceability
Managing return of expired or damaged stock and tracking credit notes from vendors
Reconciling consignment stock at hospital accounts tracking usage and raising replenishment orders
Preparing weekly and monthly stock reports in Excel SKU-wise, hospital-wise, and expiry-wise
Supporting the accounts team with inventory documentation during audits

Preferred candidate profile:

4 to 7 years of experience in inventory, warehouse, or logistics
Hands-on with Tally ERP or Tally Prime stock entries, GRN, purchase orders, delivery challans
Strong Excel skills — stock trackers, expiry reports, VLOOKUP, pivot tables
Experience with batch tracking, expiry management, and FIFO stock rotation
Familiarity with consignment-based inventory models is a strong advantage
Prior experience in pharma, medical device, or surgical equipment distribution preferred
