Position Overview:

The Internal Audit Associate will be integral in supporting the audit process across the organization. This role involves planning and executing audits, evaluating internal controls, and providing insights to the management. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to team leading, professional development and continuous learning in the field of auditing and compliance.

Role & responsibilities:

Responsible for Risk Based Audit planning, Monitor overall status of audits, undertake audits whenever required and lead observations discussions.
Pursue continuous learning on SEBI / Exchanges circulars, policies, procedures, best industry practices, methods and achievements.
Check and provide assurances on the strength and sufficiency of internal controls through-out the company's various departments.
Ensure that critical areas / activities are thoroughly examined to identify control gaps and recommend corrective actions, if any, to fix in sustainable manner.
Take on special assignments as needed and complete them on schedule.
Lead in the preparation of audit reports and enhance presentation experience for the Audit Committee of the Board.
Monitor Open observations, follow-up with Auditees to get proper management response and validate closure / implementation of recommendations.

Preferred candidate profile:

Education: CA
Experience: 3 to 8 years in internal audit, risk management, or compliance.
Knowledge: Understanding of internal control frameworks and SEBI & Exchanges regulations & circulars.
Skills: Strong analytical skills, report writing, communication and presentation abilities.
Abilities: Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and communicate clearly with stakeholders.
