Job Description
Document Preparation: Prepare and review
import/export documents (invoices, packing lists,
bills of lading, certificates of origin) to ensure
accuracy and compliance with legal regulations.
2. Customs Clearance: Handle and coordinate the
clearance process, including submission of
documents electronically (e.g., via ICEGATE)
3. Duty & Tax Calculations: Calculate and verify
applicable duties, taxes, and customs
notifications. Ensure accurate payment and
documentation for each consignment.
4. Shipment Coordination: Coordinate with
shipping lines, freight forwarders, transporters,
and internal teams for the movement and status
update of consignments from port to warehouse
and vice versa.
5. Record Maintenance: Maintain up-to-date logs
and reports on all shipments, import/export
transactions, and documentation for audits and
future reference
EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION REQUIRED • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in import/export
customs clearance
