Job Description

Emergys is seeking a Spark Engineer with a minimum of 4 years of experience. This position is based in Mumbai BKC and follows a work-from-office model.

Key requirements for this role include:

- Strong knowledge of Spark and Hive
- Proficiency in SQL for data querying and manipulation
- Good programming skills in Python
- Hands-on experience with, or understanding of, on-premises CDP (Cloudera Data Platform)
- Experience with Java and Flink

Preferred qualifications include:

- Experience with Spark Streaming
- Understanding of Apache Iceberg
- Experience with workflow orchestration tools such as Airflow
- Experience with NiFi for data ingestion and flow management
