Graphic Designer Intern

Job Description

Collaborate with senior designers to create various marketing materials. Assist in the design of graphics for digital platforms, including social media. Create visually appealing graphics and layouts for print media. Participate in brainstorming sessions to generate creative ideas. Support the team in editing and refining design concepts. Adhere to brand guidelines while maintaining creativity. Prepare design files for production and ensure they meet quality standards. Research current design trends to maintain a fresh and modern approach. Assist in organizing and maintaining design assets and files. Provide feedback on design projects and suggest improvements. Help with basic photo editing and retouching tasks. Contribute to team meetings by sharing ideas and updates. Support other departments with design-related needs as required. Learn from constructive criticism provided by senior designers. Work on multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines. Required Qualifications: Pursuing a degree in Graphic Design or a related field. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator). Strong portfolio showcasing design work (academic or personal projects). Basic understanding of design principles and typography. Familiarity with color theory and layout techniques. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong attention to detail and a passion for design. Effective time management skills for handling multiple projects. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Willingness to learn and adapt to feedback. Basic understanding of web design principles is a plus. Knowledge of video editing software is a plus. Previous internship or relevant experience is a plus. Open-mindedness to explore various styles and techniques. Strong organizational skills in managing design files. A proactive attitude and eagerness to grow within the field.
