Fire Fighting Design Engineer

Qualification: BTech Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field

Job Summary:

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Fire & PHE Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design, installation, and maintenance of fire protection systems and public health engineering systems, including water supply, drainage, and sanitation facilities. The role will require a strong understanding of fire safety regulations, plumbing systems, waste management, and the ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Fire Protection Engineering:

• Design and implement fire protection systems, including fire alarms, sprinkler systems, fire suppression, and emergency evacuation plans.
• Conduct fire risk assessments and ensure compliance with local and international fire safety codes and standards.
• Oversee the installation, testing, and maintenance of fire safety equipment.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and construction teams to ensure the proper integration of fire safety measures into building designs.
• Develop and maintain fire safety documentation, including plans, inspections, and compliance reports.
• Provide training and guidance to site personnel on fire safety procedures and emergency response protocols.
• Perform fire system inspections and audits, providing recommendations of improvements or upgrades.

Public Health Engineering (PHE):

• Design and oversee the installation of public health systems, including potable water supply, sanitation, drainage, and waste disposal systems.
• Conduct site surveys and prepare reports on existing public health infrastructure.
• Design stormwater management systems and ensure compliance with environmental and health regulations.
• Monitor the operation and maintenance of PHE systems to ensure they meet required standards.
• Work closely with local authorities to ensure compliance with public health regulations and guidelines.
• Advice on sustainable practices for water conservation, waste treatment, and overall health and safety standards in facilities.
• Coordinate with project managers to ensure the timely delivery of PHE services for construction or renovation projects.
