Job Description

Research current fashion trends and forecast future styles to inspire new designs. Create sketches, mood boards, and prototypes for seasonal collections. Develop innovative designs for clothing, accessories, or footwear (based on the brand's focus). Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, marketing, and sales. Select fabrics, colors, trims, and materials while keeping budget constraints in mind. Oversee sample development, ensure quality, and make adjustments as needed. Monitor the production process to ensure designs are executed correctly. Stay updated on sustainability practices and incorporate them into designs where possible. Present collections and concepts to stakeholders for approval.Role & responsibilities Preferred candidate profile Bachelors degree in Fashion Design, Textile Design, or a related field. Proven experience in fashion design or a related role (portfolio required). Strong knowledge of garment construction, textiles, and production processes. Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or CAD. Excellent sketching, drawing, and visualization skills. Strong attention to detail and an understanding of market trends.
