Job Description

Develop innovative and market-relevant fashion apparel designs that align with the brand s identity and resonate with international customers, ideate and conceptualize collections Stay up-to-date with global fashion trends, color palettes, fabric innovations, and consumer preferences to infuse the latest trends into design concepts Create detailed sketches and technical drawings that effectively communicate design concepts and specifications to pattern makers and production teams Source and select appropriate fabrics, trims, and embellishments for garment designs, considering quality, feasibility, and cost-effectiveness Understand the needs and preferences of international clients, creating designs that cater to different markets and demographic preferences Create compelling and visually appealing design presentations for internal teams and international clients, effectively communicating design concepts and inspiration Plan & create new designs by collaborating with the team members to create new concepts, categories/new ranges Lead and provide overall creative direction to the brand by conceptualizing and developing ranges for different categories Work closely with cross-functional teams, including merchandising, production etc to align design concepts with overall brand strategies and business goals Prepare and deliver design presentations that effectively communicate design concepts, inspirations, and technical details to internal teams and external stakeholders Choose appropriate materials, fabrics, trims, and color schemes that align with design concepts, ensuring feasibility for production and marketability Analyze market trends, competitor offerings, and consumer feedback to make informed design decisions that resonate with target audiences Desired candidate Profile Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite and other relevant design tools Excellent sketching skills, with a keen eye for detail Creative thinking, problem-solving skills, and a passion for innovation in design Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Adaptability and willingness to evolve designs based on feedback and market trends Creative with a strong passion and aesthetic for modern, minimal design Worked with American and European brands in knit and woven both in women and kids wear Able to work as a team player Good Communication Skills Experience: 6 7 Yrs
