Fashion Design And Merchandising Internship About the internship Selected candidate's day-to-day responsibilities include: 1. Researching the trends and designing and modifying designs for sustainable clothing 2. Focusing on product development 3. Curating new collections as per season 4. Help in sourcing fabrics, trims, and accessories. Participate in fabric and material selection for prototypes and final products. 5. Creating tech packs and communicating with the artisans requirements for sampling 6. Participate in fittings and garment construction sessions 7. Support in the preparation of design presentations and mood boards. 8. Contribute innovative ideas and concepts to enhance our collections. 9. Organize and maintain design materials and samples 10. Perform administrative tasks and other duties as assigned 11. Work closely with the founder to create a new brand Who can apply? Only those candidates can apply who: 1. Are available for full time (in-office) internship along with some flexibility 2. Can start the internship by early February 2025 3. Are available for a duration of 3 months 4. Are from or open to relocate to Gurgaon and neighboring cities. 5. Have relevant skills and interests. 6. Currently enrolled in or recent graduate of a top tier fashion design or related program such as NIFT. 7. Strong passion for fashion and creativity with a keen eye for detail. 8. Proficiency in adobe creative suite, especially illustrator and photoshop, is preferred. 9. A basic understanding of garment construction and textiles. 10. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Other requirements Candidates having permanent residence in Gurgaon/Delhi will be preferred.
