Job Description

Role Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical IBC Executive to support matters related to insolvency resolution, liquidation, bankruptcy proceedings, and regulatory compliance under the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, 2016. The role involves assisting in corporate insolvency resolution processes (CIRP), liquidation assignments, claims management, legal documentation, stakeholder coordination, and ensuring adherence to applicable regulatory requirements.


Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in managing assignments under the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code (IBC), including Corporate Insolvency Resolution Process (CIRP), liquidation, and bankruptcy matters.
  • Support Insolvency Professionals (IPs) and Resolution Professionals (RPs) in the execution of insolvency and restructuring assignments.
  • Prepare and maintain statutory records, case files, notices, public announcements, and regulatory filings.
  • Coordinate with creditors, debtors, legal counsels, valuers, auditors, and other stakeholders throughout the insolvency process.
  • Verify and collate claims submitted by financial creditors, operational creditors, employees, and other stakeholders.
  • Assist in conducting meetings of the Committee of Creditors (CoC), including preparation of agendas, notices, minutes, and related documentation.
  • Draft applications, petitions, affidavits, progress reports, and other documents for submission before the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) and other regulatory authorities.
  • Monitor compliance with timelines and procedural requirements prescribed under the IBC, IBBI regulations, and related laws.
  • Support in preparation of Information Memorandum (IM), evaluation matrices, and resolution process documentation.
  • Conduct legal and financial research on insolvency laws, regulations, judicial precedents, and regulatory updates.
  • Liaise with regulatory authorities such as IBBI, NCLT, NCLAT, and other relevant bodies.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, MIS reports, and assignment trackers.
  • Assist in due diligence, transaction support, and implementation of approved resolution plans.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in law, Commerce, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Additional qualifications such as CA Inter, CS Inter, CMA Inter, LLB, or Insolvency Professional certification will be preferred.

Experience Required

  • 1-4 years of relevant experience in insolvency, restructuring, legal advisory, compliance, or related domains.
  • Prior experience in handling IBC assignments, CIRP, liquidation, or bankruptcy matters will be preferred.
