Job Overview We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Hand Embroidery Artisan to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional skills in traditional and modern embroidery techniques and have a keen eye for intricate designs. This role involves creating high-quality, handcrafted embroidered pieces for various applications, including apparel, home decor, and custom orders. Key Responsibilities Create intricate hand-embroidered designs based on client requirements or provided patterns. Collaborate with designers to develop unique and innovative embroidery patterns. Work with different fabrics, threads, and embellishments to achieve high-quality results. Ensure precision and accuracy in stitching, maintaining consistency in design elements. Perform finishing tasks such as washing, ironing, or trimming to ensure a polished final product. Meet project deadlines while maintaining exceptional craftsmanship. Repair or restore embroidered items as needed. Maintain and organize embroidery supplies and materials. Qualifications and Skills Proven experience in hand embroidery, with a portfolio showcasing past work. Proficiency in various embroidery techniques (e.g., satin stitch, chain stitch, French knots, beadwork). Strong attention to detail and precision. Ability to work with delicate fabrics and materials. Creative mindset with the ability to interpret designs and patterns. Good time management and organizational skills. Familiarity with color theory and fabric design is a plus.
