Job Description
Role & responsibilities
The DET (Diploma Engineer Trainee) Mechanical Engineer will support engineering, design, and project execution activities related to thermal systems, enclosures, and mechanical components used in critical power and data center solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in design and development of mechanical components and systems
- Support thermal management, cooling systems, and enclosure design
- Work with cross-functional teams (Electrical, Production, Quality)
- Prepare and review technical drawings and documentation
- Support installation, testing, and commissioning activities
- Ensure compliance with quality and safety standards
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (DET role)
- 0–2 years of experience (Freshers can apply)
Skills Required
- Basic knowledge of mechanical design principles
- Understanding of HVAC / cooling systems (preferred)
- Familiarity with AutoCAD / SolidWorks
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and teamwork
