Leading a team of cybersecurity professionals and overseeing the design, implementation, and management of cybersecurity measures to protect the organization's information systems This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, staying abreast of emerging threats, and implementing robust security strategies Key Responsibilities: Team Leadership:Lead and manage a team of cybersecurity engineers, providing guidance, mentorship, and technical expertise Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning within the cybersecurity team Security Architecture and Design:Design and implement effective cybersecurity architectures to safeguard the organization's systems and data Collaborate with IT teams to integrate security measures into the overall system architecture Vulnerability Management:Develop and oversee vulnerability assessment programs to identify and remediate security vulnerabilities Coordinate with IT and development teams to implement security patches and updates Incident Response and Investigation:Lead incident response efforts in the event of a cybersecurity incident or breach Conduct forensic investigations to determine the root cause of security incidents and recommend preventive measures Security Awareness and Training:Develop and deliver cybersecurity awareness and training programs for employees Promote a security-conscious culture throughout the organization Security Policies and Compliance:Establish and enforce cybersecurity policies, standards, and procedures Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards related to information security Security Technology Evaluation:Evaluate and recommend cybersecurity technologies, tools, and solutions Stay informed about emerging threats and technologies to ensure the security posture remains current and effective Security Audits and Assessments:Conduct regular security audits and assessments to measure and improve the effectiveness of security controls Work with internal and external auditors to address security findings and implement corrective actions
