POSITION SUMMARY Gemini is seeking an experienced VMware L3 Administrator with over 6 years of expertise in managing and troubleshooting VMware vSphere 7.x ESXi infrastructure. Skilled in high-level diagnostics, upgrading ESXi hosts, and provisioning UCS components. Proficient in vCenter, vCenter Operations Manager, and VMware Update Manager, with hands-on experience in server consolidation, site migrations, and storage management. Strong knowledge of PowerShell scripting (PowerCLI), ITIL practices, and Windows Server administration. Adept at collaborating with technical teams and vendors to resolve complex issues and implement optimized solutions. EXPERIENCE AND REQUIRED SKILL SETS Experienced as VMware L3 or in similar role for 6+ years Install, Configure & Manage VMware vSphere 7.x ESXi Infrastructure. Strong experience in Troubleshooting VMware related issues Experience in high level diagnostics & troubleshooting on VMware vSphere 7.x ESXi and Vcsa 7.x. Proficient and hands on experience in vCenter, Vcsa 6.5 Experiment in the installation, configuration, and administration of components in a large VMware environment centered around best practices, to include vCenter, VMware Update Manager, vCenter Operations Manager, vCenter Orchestrator, vCenter Cloud Automation Center, vCenter Site RecoveryManager. Experience in VM template design and leveraging vCenter Operations Manager to right Size, virtual servers Experience with server consolidation/virtualization for HW reduction and site migrations via V2V andP2V. Experience in upgrading ESXi hosts and VM guests using VMware Update Manager. 3+ years of experience in Cisco UCS Administration. Experience installing/provisional all UCS domain components, including fabric interconnects, chassis, blades, service profiles, pools, policies, templates and firmware. Installs, operates and maintains network and storage appliances. Installs patches and performs systemupdates. Manages storage allocation, space, and replication strategies Analyses and resolves problems related to storage systems and network storage solutions. Recovers datawhen required. Experience working with various levels of technical individuals at remote locations an vendors toresolve problems or in implementing new solutions. Experience using a ticket management system for work prioritization and daily workload management. Architect and develop customer solutions based on current hands-on knowledge of the VMware product line, storage, networking, management, and associated customer business processes. Deep technical problem isolation and resolution capability Administration of Microsoft Windows Server. Follow ITIL practices regarding incident, problem and change management Celebrating 12 Glorious Years! Knowledge of vCenter, VMware Update Manager, vCenter Operations Manager, vCenter Orchestrator, vCenter Cloud Automation Center, vRops, netApp Storage, Pure storage. Scripting: Windows PowerShell, (PowerCLI is a must) VCP, (Essential), ITIL (Would be added advantage). Must have strong Communication skills and the ability to articulate task management, priorities and issues Make this in good formatting EDUCATION Bachelors degree or masters in computer science, Engineering, Software Engineering or a relevant field
