Job Description

Oversee the full customer lifecycle, from customer onboarding to identity screening (KYC/AML) to individual financing decisions Responsible for credit risk underwriting and managing of credit limits for MODIFIs Trade Finance customers In depth analysis of financial statements, company registers, credit scores and other sources of relevant credit assessment information Work on strategic underwriting projects, underwriting loss analysis and portfolio stress tests Further develop and implement underwriting principles in accordance with the MODIFI Risk Policy Partner with the product, business, legal, finance and engineering teams to build best-in-class Trade Finance products. These are your skills and attitude that you bring: Minimal 5 years experience in Corporate Banking, Trade Finance, Credit Insurance, Factoring or similar underwriting position. Very good understanding of the Indian market and preferably also Bangladesh and/or Pakistan Proven ability to make credit decisions Passion for international trade and development and how digital Trade Finance can create significant growth for such businesses In depth knowledge of financial analysis with IFRS and GAAP, modeling, systems and reporting Comfortable operating in a fast-paced and ever-changing dynamic environment Academic degree in business or economics You are fluent in English
