Job Description

Requirements: The ideal candidate should: Have a bachelor's or masters degree in computer science or related field. Have 8-10 years of hands-on experience in Cloud Operation roles with a focus on AWS. Be proficient in managing AWS services, including but not limited to: Amazon EC2 AWS Lambda Amazon RDS AWS Elastic Beanstalk Amazon S3 Amazon VPC Have strong expertise in Amazon EKS and Kubernetes orchestration. Must demonstrate experience in cost optimization strategies within AWS. Must be proficient in scripting and programming skills (e.g., Python, Bash, or similar). Technical Skills: Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of AWS infrastructure, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security. Drive the management and optimization of Amazon EKS clusters, including deployment, scaling, and monitoring of containerized applications. Develop strategies for cost optimization across AWS services, utilizing tools and best practices to minimize operational expenses. Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment and testing of applications and infrastructure using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or AWS CodePipeline. Collaborate with the security team to establish and maintain robust security practices, including IAM policies, encryption, and compliance. Set up and manage monitoring and alerting systems (e.g., CloudWatch, Prometheus) to ensure system performance and availability. Maintain detailed documentation of infrastructure configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides. Analyze new and maturing cloud service offerings for evaluation and proof of concept. Write technical documentation for both technical and non-technical audiences. Soft Skills: Mentor and guide a team of DevOps engineers, fostering a collaborative and productive working environment. Serve as a customer advocate to ensure customer satisfaction in getting multi-cloud services, identify opportunities for new/expanding business that benefits the customer. Implement and manage cloud services descriptions tailored to specific partner offerings and deliverables, including SLA, performance targets, capacity management reporting. Stay updated with AWS best practices and emerging technologies, applying them to enhance the infrastructure.
