Job Purpose

To design test cases for UAT on the basis of test scenarios and test enhancements done in the system, report defects identified at the time of testing to immediate superior and rectification and simulation of production issues and in case of production bug updating the PRD system

Job Context Major Challenges

Job Context: To design test cases for UAT on the basis of test scenarios and test enhancements done in the system, report defects identified at the time of testing to immediate superior and rectification and simulation of production issues and in case of production bug updating the PRD system

Job Challenges: To meet targets despite non availability and inadequate response of test region.

Duplication of test efforts due to incomplete movement of codes to test region by IT.

Unavailability of all existing product policies on test regions to carry out testing. Hence creation of latest products policies on test region due to which testing gets delayed.

Unavailability of correct data on test region to simulate production issues.

Lack of clarity from users on production issues reported and processes followed.

Key Result Areas KRA (Accountabilities) (Max 1325 Characters) Supporting Actions (Max 1325 Characters) KRA1 Preparation and Execution of test cases 1. Understanding the business requirement thoroughly.

2. Preparing test cases considering all possible scenarios by referring existing test packs.

3. Executing the test cases as per the plan and keep a record of all test results.

4. Share the test results with the users for their review.

5. Record the defects in defect tracker and share it with immediate superior and IT for resolution.

6. Designing of SQL s and analysis of data required during testing.

7. Retesting of test cases after bug fixing.

8. Demonstration of new processes to users on test region.

9. Analysis of data after production movements in initial days. KRA2 Rectification of production issues reported by users. 1. Analysis and rectification of production issues reported by users.

2. Tracking of production issues in production issues tracking system wherever intervention of IT is required.

3. Rectification of production issues within set timelines.

4. Analysis of process followed during activity processing and simulation of activity on test region.

5. Demonstration of processes on test region to users to avoid process errors in future.

6. Designing of SQL s for users on request basis. KRA3 Maintece of Desk Instruction Manual (DIM) and Ready Reckoner. 1. Updation and upload of DIM on the basis request from users.

2. Updation and upload of Ready Reckoner on basis request from users.
