It offers integrated services, leveraging JSW's expertise in logistics, financing, and construction materials to support the growth of MSMEs. Purpose of the Job: The Assistant Manager - Logistics will be responsible for managing the day-to-day logistics operations, ensuring efficient and timely delivery of goods. This individual role focuses on optimizing logistics processes, cost management, and enhancing customer satisfaction. Roles & Responsibilities: Logistics Operations Management: Plan and coordinate the movement of goods to ensure timely and accurate deliveries. Monitor order progress and prepare detailed summary reports. Ensure compliance with transportation regulations and safety standards. Stakeholder Coordination: Act as the primary point of contact between sales teams, service centers, and transporters. Facilitate smooth communication and resolve logistics-related issues efficiently. Collaborate with internal and external partners to align logistics priorities with business requirements. Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Develop and track key logistics metrics such as on-time delivery rates and transit times. Prepare weekly and monthly performance reports for internal stakeholders. Cost Optimization and Delivery Innovation: Analyze logistics costs to identify opportunities for savings without compromising service quality. Implement innovative delivery models and negotiate cost-effective contracts with transporters. Continuous Improvement: Evaluate and improve existing logistics processes to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction. Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging logistics technologies. Who Can Apply: 3-5 years of proven experience in logistics and warehouse management, preferably in a B2C/B2B operations environment. Demonstrated ability to develop and implement efficient processes and workflows. Proficiency in logistics software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Strong understanding of delivery models and transportation management systems. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Minimum Bachelor's degree in Production or Mechanical Engineering or a related field is preferred. A Master's degree in logistics or operations management is a plus
