Job Description

The Apprentice Trainee - Pilot Plant will assist in the operation and scaling of pharmaceutical processes in the API manufacturing facility. Key responsibilities include supporting equipment setup, monitoring production, maintaining documentation, and ensuring safety and quality standards. This role offers hands-on experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing and process optimization. Key Responsibilities Assist in the day-to-day operations of the pilot plant under the supervision. Support the scale-up of processes from laboratory to pilot plant scale for API manufacturing. Perform equipment setup, operation, and troubleshooting for various pilot-scale processes. Monitor and record operational data, ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and environmental standards. Contribute to the preparation of batch records, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and process documentation. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Quality Control, R&D, and Production) to ensure smooth operations and effective problem-solving. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and safety standards. Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and other relevant industry standards during all activities. Qualifications for Internal Candidates Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Pharmaceutical Technology, or related fields. Strong interest in the pharmaceutical manufacturing process, especially API production. Basic understanding of process equipment and operations in chemical or pharmaceutical manufacturing. Strong communication skills (verbal and written). Willingness to learn, adapt, and take on challenges in a fast-paced environment.
