Job Description

Responsibilities: 1. Perform daily accounting tasks such as invoicing, accounts receivable, and accounts payable. 2. Handle GST (Goods and Services Tax) calculations, ensuring compliance with tax regulations. 3. Reconcile GST returns with GSTR-2A (Goods and Services Tax Return) to ensure accuracy and completeness. 4. Assist in preparing financial statements and reports. 5. Maintain accurate records of financial transactions. 6. Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes. 7. Collaborate with other departments to resolve accounting discrepancies and issues. 8. Stay updated on changes in accounting regulations and tax laws. 9. Support senior accountants and management with ad-hoc tasks and projects. Requirements: 1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. 2. Proven experience in accounting roles, preferably with exposure to GST calculations and reconciliation. 3. Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices. 4. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar). 5. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. 6. Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. 7. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 9. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 10. Certification in GST or relevant taxation would be a plus.
