Job Description

An Accountant should provide financial information to management by researching and analyzing accounting data; preparing reports. Responsibilities: AP AR Management Monitoring of cash flow and investments Preparation of monthly budget Prepare statutory compliance of deducted and collected taxes viz TDS and Professional tax. Calculation Payment of Taxes (GST, TDS, PT, etc) Maintaining accounting records, making copies, filing documents, etc. Ensure that all general ledger accounts reconciliation on a weekly basis Monitor and follow-up on receivables that have been outstanding for unusually long periods of time Preparation of financial reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing account information and trends Assisting co-ordinating with other departments. Receiving and processing all invoices, expense forms and requests for payments. Banking related document preparation including Cheques, Bank transfers, etc. Updating financial data in databases to ensure that information will be accurate and immediately available when needed Processing of monthly payment of utilities and other bills. Preparation of Purchase orders, Delivery Notes Maintaining necessary records. Debtors and Creditors balance reconciliation and age-wise analysis of Debtors balances. Prepare monthly Tax reports follow up proper updating Verify that all accounting related activities follow company standards
