Job Title: Accountant Location: Faridabad, Gurugram (Gurgaon-Faridabad location) Work Mode: In-office Annual Salary: 6 Lacs to 10 Lacs Job Description: We are urgently hiring for the position of Accountant with 1-6 years of experience. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring timely filing of GST and TDS returns, handling accounts payable and receivable, and assisting with various accounting functions. The candidate should have experience with SAP and a strong understanding of accounting processes. Key Responsibilities: Manage daily accounting functions including data entry for sales, purchases, receipts, payments, and bank reconciliation. Preparation of debtors and creditors statements, and maintaining the General Ledger (GL). Handle Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Sales Accounting, and Purchase Accounting. Ensure accurate and timely filing of GST, TDS, and other statutory tax returns. Reconcile bank accounts and vendor statements, ensuring completeness and accuracy. Process invoices, expense forms, and payment requests, ensuring timely payments. Maintain and organize accounting records, including filing and copying of relevant documents. Ensure compliance with tax regulations, including service tax, TDS, and other applicable taxes. Assist supervisors with tasks as required and support accounting modules (AR, AP, GL). Input customer and account data into the system, ensuring accuracy and timely data processing. Required Skills & Qualifications: Strong experience in SAP and other accounting software (Tally, etc.). Proficient in GST, TDS, and other statutory tax filing. Strong knowledge of accounting functions like Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, and Balance Sheet preparation. Experience with bank reconciliation and vendor reconciliation. Analytical skills with a keen attention to detail. Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines. Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with teams. Experience: 1-6 years of experience in an accounting role.
