Job Description

Financial Accounting and Reporting: Prepare, examine, and analyze financial statements (balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements) to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards. Maintain and update financial records and ledgers. Prepare and present financial reports to management and stakeholders. Taxation: Assist in tax planning and strategy development to minimize tax liabilities. Prepare and file tax returns, including income tax, corporate tax, and goods and services tax (GST) returns. Ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations. Audit and Assurance: Conduct internal and external audits to assess the accuracy and completeness of financial records. Provide assurance on financial statements and compliance with accounting standards. Identify and report financial irregularities or discrepancies. Financial Planning and Analysis: Provide financial analysis and forecasting to support decision-making. Develop budgets and financial plans. Evaluate the financial performance of projects, departments, or the organization as a whole. Compliance and Regulatory Matters: Stay up-to-date with changes in accounting standards and financial regulations. Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements related to financial reporting and disclosure.
