Proven experience as an accountant
Thorough knowledge of basic accounting procedures
Familiarity with financial accounting statements
Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process
Two years of hands-on experience on Tally
Knowledge of GST filling
Knowledge of TDS filling
Bank reconciliation
Good understanding of Profit and Loss & Balance sheets
Ability to train junior team members

Role and Responsibilities

Update financial spreadsheets with daily transactions.
Support monthly payroll and keep organized records
Assist and contribute to the team and ability to work with senior Management
Overseeing the financial transactions of a company
Posting journal entries, updating financial statements, maintaining accounts receivable and accounts payable, paying monthly payroll
Preparing financial reports.
Preparing tax returns.
Assisting with audit preparations
Performing other accounting duties as assigned
