Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Warehouse and Inventory Manager to oversee all aspects of warehouse operations and inventory control. The ideal candidate will ensure efficient storage, distribution, and inventory management processes while maintaining compliance with safety regulations and company standards. This role is critical for ensuring the seamless flow of goods and materials to meet business objectives. Your Role and Responsibilities Warehouse Operations: Manage day-to-day warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, and dispatching goods. Develop and implement standard operating procedures to ensure operational efficiency. Coordinate with supply chain and logistics teams to streamline processes. Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records and perform regular stock checks. Develop strategies to optimize inventory levels and reduce waste or overstocking. Monitor and analyze inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions. Team Leadership: Lead, train, and mentor warehouse staff to maintain high productivity and morale. Assign tasks and evaluate team performance against operational goals. Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement. Compliance and Safety: Ensure warehouse operations comply with all safety regulations and company policies. Conduct regular safety audits and training sessions for staff. Implement measures to safeguard inventory against damage, theft, or loss. Reporting and Data Analysis: Prepare and present reports on inventory levels, operational efficiency, and other key performance indicators. Use data-driven insights to recommend process improvements and cost-saving measures. Required Technical and Professional Expertise Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory software (e. g. , SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms). Strong knowledge of inventory control methods and practices, including FIFO, LIFO, and cycle counting. Familiarity with supply chain and logistics principles. Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills. Ability to lead and motivate teams in a fast-paced environment. Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal. Qualification & Experience Required Bachelor s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in warehouse and inventory management, preferably in a supervisory role. Certifications such as Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) or Certified Warehouse Logistics Professional (CWLP) are a plus. Experience with safety and compliance standards in warehouse operations.More Info
