Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Order Fulfillment Specialist to join our team. This role is critical in ensuring seamless processing, accurate packaging, and timely delivery of customer orders. The ideal candidate will possess strong problem-solving skills, a customer-centric mindset, and a commitment to upholding operational excellence. Your Role and Responsibilities Order Processing: Review and process customer orders efficiently in accordance with company policies. Coordinate with the sales, inventory, and logistics teams to ensure accurate order fulfillment. Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels to ensure sufficient inventory for order fulfillment. Collaborate with procurement teams to replenish inventory as needed. Shipping Coordination: Arrange and oversee shipment schedules with logistics partners. Track shipments to ensure timely delivery and resolve any delays or issues. Customer Communication: Act as a liaison between the company and customers for order-related queries. Provide real-time updates to customers about order status and delivery timelines. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of orders, invoices, and shipping details. Generate regular reports to analyze fulfillment metrics and improve processes. Quality Assurance: Inspect outgoing orders to ensure accuracy and compliance with customer requirements. Handle order discrepancies and coordinate returns or exchanges as needed. Required Technical and Professional Expertise Proficiency in order management systems (e. g. , SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP tools). Strong understanding of inventory management principles and logistics. Familiarity with e-commerce platforms and shipping software (e. g. , Shopify, FedEx Ship Manager). Excellent organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail. Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to issue resolution. Effective communication skills for cross-functional collaboration and customer interaction. Qualification & Experience Required Bachelor s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. 2-4 years of experience in order fulfillment, logistics, or a similar operational role. Knowledge of shipping regulations and industry standards is a plus. Certifications in supply chain management (e. g. , CSCP, CPIM) are desirable.More Info
