Job Description
Project Management:
1. Studythe process across the business units to identify and establish best practicesin Accounting and Financial processes
2. Identifyareas of system development and automation and prepare changerequest/functional specification document specifying the required changes
3. Coordinatewith ERP Software on development requirements such as discussing the scope andlogic of the proposed changes to ensure they meet the groups needs.
4. Coordinateproject activities with the ERP team, ensuring timely updates on projectprogress and adherence to established timelines.
5. Conductthorough User Testing once the required developments are delivered by ERP.Coordinate with BSM users doing the testing to ensure that feedback is conveyedto ERP in a timely manner.
6. Implementthe new process development and support the users during initial implementationphase.
7. Coordinateand align process between GSC and IPC in accordance with the standard proceduredefined by the group.
Training and Process Improvement
8. Conducttraining sessions for the Accounts and Finance community to ensure thatstandard procedures and processes are correctly understood and implemented.
9. Preparescripts and relevant training materials for Accounts and Finance sessions.
10. Updatefinancial manuals and accounting process guidelines.
