SUMMARY About the Role: Our client is seeking a motivated and experienced female Store Manager/Duty Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of their store at Omaha Beach. This is an exciting opportunity to deliver exceptional customer service, manage a dynamic team, and contribute to the store's strategic growth. The ideal candidate will bring past experience in food retail, strong leadership skills, and a passion for driving business success. Key Responsibilities: Sourcing and purchasing products, negotiating deals with suppliers. Ensuring compliance with the Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act 2012. Delivering outstanding customer service to enhance the shopping experience. Leading, training, and motivating a team to achieve store goals. Managing stock levels, orders, and stocktakes efficiently. Strategically planning for business growth and development. Overseeing daily cash reconciliations, petty cash management, and banking processes. Executing and managing store merchandising to attract customers. Enforcing company policies and procedures among staff. Maintaining security controls for cash, keys, alarms, and stock. Ensuring compliance with Occupational Health & Safety guidelines. Handling customer inquiries and resolving complaints professionally. Ensuring the store is well-presented and encouraging repeat business. Managing liquor licensing requirements and adhering to regulations. Requirements Essential Requirements: Female candidates only. Previous experience in food retail is essential. Physically fit to meet the demands of the role. Strong written and spoken English skills. Desired Skills & Experience: Solid basic math skills. Proven customer service expertise. Experience in checkout operations.
