Job Description

Ensure guest satisfaction and delight them by delivering high quality food products
Would assist the sous chef in food preparation and organization within the kitchen
Contribute to the smooth running of the section by preparing and presenting food to a high
standard, maintaining hygiene practices and actively developing the kitchen skills and
Follow brand standard food specifications with a high level of performance and presentation
and to ensure minimum food wastage in the kitchen
Adhere to standard operating procedures to improve the process.
Ensure proper upkeep of Kitchen equipments tools and utensils.
Prepares cooks and stores the required mise-en-place as per the menu
Communicates to his/her superior any difficulties, guest or internal customer comment and
other relevant information
Establishes and maintains effective employee working relationships
Attends and participates in daily briefings and other meetings as scheduled
Attends and participates in training sessions as scheduled
Prepares in advance food, beverage, material and equipment needed for the service
Clean the kitchen and equipment
Cleans and re-sets his/her working area
Implements the hotel and department regulations, policies and procedures including but not
limited to:
o House Rules and Regulation
o Health and Safety
o Grooming
o Quality
o Hygiene and Cleanliness
Performs related duties and special projects as assigned
Maintain a hygienic kitchen and personal hygiene
Ensure implementation of international standards of Food hygiene and Safety
Responsible for the safety of all guest services
