Role Description

1. Design, configure, and deploy LAN, WAN, and wireless networks

2. Install and configure network hardware (routers, switches, firewalls, etc.)

3. Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize network efficiency

4. Develop and implement network security measures, including firewalls and VPNs

5. Conduct network assessments and capacity planning

6. Manage network documentation and create detailed network diagrams

7. Provide technical support and guidance to team members and other departments

8. Collaborate with vendors and service providers for network solutions

9. Ensure network compliance with industry standards and best practices

Must-have skills

A. Extensive experience in network administration and architecture

B. Proficiency in networking protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, etc.)

C. Strong understanding of network security principles and practices

D. Experience with network monitoring and analysis tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Nagios)
