Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically strong Business Analyst with expertise in Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence (BI). The Technical BA will act as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, gathering and analyzing requirements, translating them into functional and technical specifications, and ensuring successful delivery of data warehouse and analytics solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage with business users to understand data and reporting needs.
• Gather, document, and analyze business, functional, and technical requirements for data warehouse and BI initiatives.
• Translate requirements into source-to-target mappings (STTM), data flow diagrams, and ETL specifications.
• Collaborate with data architects, data engineers, and ETL developers to design scalable data warehouse solutions.
• Validate data integration processes, data quality rules, and reconciliation between source and target systems.
• Support data modeling activities (star schema, snowflake, fact and dimension design).
• Assist in defining metadata, lineage, and governance requirements.
• Create and execute user acceptance test (UAT) plans for data warehouse deliverables.
• Develop ad-hoc SQL queries for requirement validation, data profiling, and reconciliation.
• Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and the technical development team.
• Prepare documentation such as BRD, use cases, user stories.
• Support production releases and post-implementation reviews.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 7-10 years of experience as a Business Analyst with data warehousing / BI / ETL projects.
• Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts (ETL, OLAP, data marts, dimensional modeling).
• Proficiency in SQL for data analysis and validation.
• Experience working with any ETL tools (preferably Informatica).
• High level knowledge of reporting/visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, Qlik, etc.) (Not Mandatory)
• Familiarity with data governance, lineage, and master data concepts.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum methodology (user stories, backlog management, acceptance criteria).
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and documentation skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
