Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Supervisor Production to join our team at Padmatech Industries Pvt Ltd. The ideal candidate will have 3 to 5 years of experience in the fabrication industry and expertise in handling projects independently from layout to execution.

Roles and Responsibility

Expertise in handling projects independently from layout to execution.
Implementation of lean manufacturing processes to reduce manpower by 25-30%.
Change in layout, reduction in work-in-progress (WIP), and increase in comfort level of workmen.
Planning activities (material as well as manpower) for shifts.
Identification of skills and utilization at the right place.
Negotiation with suppliers and coordination for delivery.
Inspection of materials/equipment at supplier end, assembly and testing of setups in the factory, and coordination with third-party inspection and preparation of documents and packing lists for exports.
Achieving production targets and priorities as required.
Meeting daily output agreements with fitters, helpers, and welders.
Following standard fitting, helping, and welding procedures and techniques, and having plant-specific process knowledge.
Communicating shortages and stockouts, and picking up parts from store locations.
Communicating daily output and pending jobs, maintaining workstation, tools, and equipment upkeep, and ensuring safety requirements while working.
Transferring knowledge or skills to new fitters, helpers, and welders, and gaining knowledge about all production activities (own production skill level minimum 65%).
Maintaining good housekeeping standards, regularly turning off lights/fans/equipment, and performing extra tasks like welding and fitting according to drawings.
Repairing components like grinders, drill machines, and bare wires, and teaching new fitters, helpers, and welders.
Having thorough knowledge about all production activities (own production skill level minimum 65%), information about damaged components/tools, full knowledge about product drawings, standards, and specifications, and ability to perform extra tasks like welding and fitting according to drawings.
Being able to teach new fitters, helpers, and welders.
Having complete DME or BA/BCOM/BSC experience and knowledge of Fabrication industries experience.
Working around 3 to 5 years in the fabrication industry.

Job Requirements

Thorough knowledge about all production activities (own production skill level minimum 65%).
Information about damaged components/tools.
Full knowledge about product drawings, standards, and specifications.
Ability to perform extra tasks like welding and fitting according to drawings.
Experience in ERP systems and production activities.
Ability to negotiate with suppliers and coordinate for delivery.
Educational Qualification: Complete DME or BA/BCOM/BSC.
