Job Description
Role & responsibilities:
1. Procurement Operations:
- Co-ordinate for sourcing and purchasing of warehousing products such as storage systems, packaging materials, MHE and other equipment's.
- On Boarding New Vendors for new products as and when required.
- Coordinate with suppliers to obtain quotations, negotiate terms, and ensure timely delivery.
2. Transporter Management:
- Bringing Cost effective transporter on Board.
- Selecting the best Vehicle modes, consolidating loads, and building efficient routes.
- Execution: Booking Transporters, dispatching vehicles, and managing compliance documents.
- Tracking and Visibility: Monitoring active shipments in real time using GPS and digital platforms.
- Freight Settlement: Auditing invoices, processing payments, and managing total shipping costs.
3. Cost Optimization:
- Ensure competitive pricing by negotiating with suppliers and vendors.
- Prepare cost analyses and identify cost-saving opportunities.
4. Documentation & Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, invoices, and delivery schedules.
- Maintain inspection reports, visit reports of vendor to ensure smooth evaluation.
5. Supplier Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain relationships with reliable suppliers and vendors.
Mandatory Requirement:
- Open to Travel- PAN India Visits
- Bike / Car with valid driving license
- Languages: English and Marathi
