Role & responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Retail Manager to lead and drive the overall retail business across multiple store locations. The role is responsible for delivering sales growth, ensuring operational excellence, enhancing customer experience, developing high-performing retail teams, and executing business strategies that strengthen brand performance and profitability.

The ideal candidate combines strong commercial acumen with operational expertise and a passion for creating exceptional customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities

Business & Sales Leadership

• Develop and execute the retail strategy aligned with the company's business objectives.
• Drive revenue growth and profitability across all retail stores.
• Set annual, quarterly, and monthly sales targets.
• Monitor store performance and implement corrective action plans.
• Identify expansion opportunities and new revenue streams.
• Analyze market trends, customer behavior, and competitor activities.

Retail Operations Excellence

• Oversee daily operations across all stores.
• Standardize and continuously improve retail SOPs.
• Ensure consistent execution of operational processes.
• Improve productivity, efficiency, and cost management.
• Conduct regular store visits to monitor performance and compliance.

Customer Experience

• Define and implement customer experience standards across all stores.
• Drive customer loyalty and retention initiatives.
• Monitor customer satisfaction metrics and service quality.
• Ensure premium service standards are consistently maintained.

Team Leadership & Talent Development

• Lead, mentor, and develop Area Managers, Store Managers, and retail leadership teams.
• Build a high-performance culture focused on accountability and excellence.
• Drive succession planning and leadership development.
• Partner with HR on recruitment, onboarding, and capability building.
• Conduct regular performance reviews and coaching sessions.

Financial Management

• Own the retail P&L.
• Monitor sales, margins, operating expenses, and profitability.
• Prepare budgets and forecasts.
• Optimize operational costs without compromising customer experience.
• Ensure achievement of financial targets.

Inventory & Supply Chain

• Ensure inventory optimization across all stores.
• Minimize stock-outs and excess inventory.
• Reduce shrinkage through effective controls.
• Coordinate with merchandising, procurement, and warehouse teams.
• Improve inventory turnover and replenishment efficiency.

Visual Merchandising & Brand Standards

• Ensure consistent execution of visual merchandising guidelines.
• Maintain premium store presentation across locations.
• Collaborate with marketing and VM teams on seasonal campaigns and product launches.

Process Improvement & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with company policies, audit requirements, and statutory regulations.
• Drive operational excellence initiatives.
• Improve reporting systems and decision-making through data analytics.
• Implement best practices across all retail locations.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Partner with Marketing on promotions and campaigns.
• Work closely with HR on people strategy.
• Coordinate with Finance on budgets and profitability.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain and Merchandising to improve product availability.
• Support expansion projects including new store openings and renovations.
