Job Description
About RalsonicsRalsonics engineers and manufactures advanced ultrasonic cleaning and industrial parts washing systems. We build precision-automated equipment that solves complex surface treatment challenges. Our commitment to the client does not end at dispatch; it ends when the machine is flawlessly running on their factory floor.
The Role We are seeking a highly capable Site Engineer to be the face of Ralsonics at our clients facilities. You will take complete ownership of the final phase of the customer journey: unpacking, installing, powering up, and commissioning our automated machines. You must possess a multi-disciplinary mindset equally comfortable aligning mechanical pumps, tracing electrical faults, and reading PLC logic. Beyond technical execution, you will train the client s operators and secure the final project sign-off.
Key Responsibilities
End-to-End Installation: Manage the physical positioning, mechanical assembly, and utility connections (water, air, power) of our equipment at the clients site.
System Commissioning & Debugging: Power up the machine, verify all electrical safety interlocks, and run the automated sequences. You will troubleshoot on the spot, whether it is a mechanical alignment issue, a loose electrical contact, or a minor PLC logic adjustment.
Operator Training: Translate complex technical operations into simple, actionable steps. Train the clients shop-floor operators on how to safely run, clean, and maintain the equipment.
Project Closure & Documentation: Conduct the Site Acceptance Test (SAT) to prove the machine meets the agreed specifications, secure the clients official sign-off, and hand over the final manuals.
Field-to-Factory Feedback: Act as the critical link back to our Design and Manufacturing teams. Document any on-site design flaws or assembly errors to ensure continuous product improvement.
What We Are Looking For
2 to 5 years of field service, installation, or commissioning experience with automated industrial machinery.
A strong foundation in Mechatronics: You understand mechanical assemblies, electrical control panels, sensors, pneumatics, and basic PLC/HMI operation (Mitsubishi experience is a plus).
Exceptional communication skills. You must project calm authority and professionalism, even when a machine throws an unexpected error in front of the client.
A willingness to travel extensively across the country to client sites as required.
Diploma or Degree in Mechatronics, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering.
