Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and proactive HR Manager to oversee end-to-end human resource operations for our hotel properties. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in HR operations, statutory compliance, labor laws, recruitment, employee engagement, payroll coordination, and performance management within the hospitality industry.
The candidate will play a key role in maintaining HR compliance, building a positive workplace culture, and supporting business operations through effective people management practices.
Key Responsibilities
Human Resource Operations
Manage end-to-end HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, induction, attendance, employee records, and exit formalities.
Develop and implement HR policies, SOPs, and employee engagement initiatives.
Handle manpower planning and coordinate hiring requirements with department heads.
Compliance & Statutory Management
Ensure compliance with all applicable labor laws and statutory regulations.
Handle PF, ESIC, PT, LWF, gratuity, bonus, and other statutory compliances.
Maintain compliance documentation, licenses, and statutory registers as per legal requirements.
Coordinate with government authorities, auditors, and consultants for compliance-related matters.
Ensure adherence to Shops & Establishment Act and hospitality industry regulations.
Payroll & Employee Relations
Coordinate payroll inputs, leave management, attendance, and salary processing.
Address employee grievances and maintain healthy employee relations.
Conduct disciplinary procedures and ensure adherence to company policies.
Training & Performance Management
Organize employee training, development, and performance appraisal programs.
Support departmental heads in employee performance monitoring and development planning.
Administration & Reporting
Prepare HR MIS reports, compliance reports, and manpower analysis.
Maintain employee database and HR documentation accurately.
Support management in HR strategy and organizational development initiatives.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
Proven experience as an HR Manager in the hospitality or hotel industry.
Strong knowledge of labor laws, statutory compliance, and HR operations.
Experience handling PF, ESIC, payroll coordination, and legal compliance documentation.
Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency in MS Office and HRMS software.
Preferred Experience
Experience in Hotels, Hospitality, Resorts, or Service Industry.
Knowledge of hospitality workforce management practices.
Ability to handle multi-property HR operations will be an added advantage.
