Job description
The Chief Security Officer (CSO) will be responsible for overseeing and managing all security operations across construction sites, project offices, and the corporate head office. The role requires ensuring the safety and security of personnel, property, assets, and sensitive information while maintaining strong relationships with local authorities, and other government bodies.
Key Responsibilities
Security Operations Management
Develop, implement, and monitor site-specific security protocols for construction sites, and offices.
Supervise and coordinate the work of security staff, guards, and external security agencies.
Conduct risk assessments and implement preventive measures to safeguard men, materials, and machinery.
Monitor CCTV, access control, and surveillance systems across sites and offices.
Liaison & Coordination local authorities.
Handle local law & order issues, labor unrest, and disputes tactfully.
Lead the response during emergencies, thefts, vandalism, accidents, or law-and-order disturbances.
Prepare incident reports and recommend corrective/preventive actions.
Ensure compliance with legal requirements and coordinate with authorities during investigations.
Draft and enforce security policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and guidelines.
Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements regarding site security and safety.
Submit regular reports to senior management on security status, risks, and key developments.
Conduct training for security personnel on vigilance, discipline, crowd control, and emergency response.
Raise awareness among site staff and laborer's on security protocols.
