1. POSITION DESCRIPTION

Role / Position Title: Finance & Business Analyst / Assist Manager

SBU: Nordics

Location: HO

2. POSITION SUMMARY

This role of Business Analyst is to support the Country Head and Head of Finance in requested controlling and business analysis in order to provide efficiency of company processes and resources and to ensure accuracy of legal books. The scope of this function includes the territories Nordic and The Netherlands

The major accountabilities of the role covering support, budgeting process, reporting and controlling

• Ownership of BPC, actuals, forecast and Budget
• Take end to end control of processes revenue shares, rebate calculations
• Manage SAP budgetary control
• Manage, analyze and maintain cost controlling with cost-reduction opportunities;
• Current reporting of company results in format agreed with management for Region.
• Monthly MIS reporting requirements for Region
• Ensure accuracy of bookkeeping
• Budgeting process for region
• Business analytics, sales, profitability by product, country and molecule
• Costs control and analytics
• Commercial business partnering, support on excel modelling and sales reviews

3. OVERALL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Executing financial reports and support annual budget process and monthly forecast

• Prepare periodic reports as requested by the Group, Country Head, Head of Finance (Financial Analysis & Business Report on: P&L, cash flow, budget deviation)
• Support Country Head and Head of Finance in data preparation for current financial analysis and annual budgets.
• To support and perform countries budget process in BPC
• Support preparation of forecasts and conduct sensitivity analysis to assess the potential impact of changes to the budget on a monthly basis in BPC
• Be proactive providing business insights with focus on key business drivers enable growth and driving efficiency
• Responsible to review forecast v actual and make suggestions for changes where applicable on a monthly basis

2. Annual closing

• Support in annual closing procedures
• Interaction with external Auditors
• Interaction with external consultants (Tax Advisors/Warehouse-providers)

3. Bookkeeping & Cost controlling

• Interact with external accountants
• To support accuracy in accounting
• Responsible for third party profit-/revenue share calculations
• Responsible for cost and budget control analysis for region
• To support the development of appropriate tools for financial controlling

External : Warehouse, Vendors, Auditors, Consultants (including lawyers), Service Providers

5. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Education :

• Business Degree or similar essential;
• Chartered Accountant or similar an advantage

Knowledge and Skills (Functional / Technical) :

Other requirements (licenses, certifications, specialized training) :

• SAP and SAP BPC experience
• Skills that excellence coordination of data, including excellence in MS-Office (primarily PowerPoint, Word, and Excel)
• Fluent English speaker.
