Job Description:

As the AI Lead, candidate will be responsible for owning the AI roadmap from suggesting relevant tools and frameworks to leading experimentation and implementation across areas such as NLP, computer vision, recommendation systems and generative AI.

Candidate will drive innovation, explore state-of-the-art technologies and ensure responsible AI practices while mentoring the team through design, development and deployment.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

• Define the AI strategy and lead end-to-end execution of AI initiatives
• Identify opportunities to apply AI across business processes and products
• Guide and mentor a team of 1 Data Scientist,1 ML Engineer and 1 Intern
• Conduct research and experimentation across NLP, computer vision, predictive analytics, generative AI and recommendation systems
• Propose and evaluate tools, libraries and cloud services for AI development
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI models into production systems
• Lead development of Conversational AI (chatbots, voice interfaces) and intelligent automation solutions
• Apply AI in AEC use cases
• Promote ethical and responsible AI, focusing on fairness, transparency and data privacy
• Oversee model deployment, monitoring and maintenance for performance and reliability

Qualifications and Experience Required:

Technical Proficiency:

• 4 to 5 years of hands-on experience in AI/ML development and deployment
• Strong proficiency in Python(must-have) knowledge of R is a plus
• Expertise in TensorFlow,PyTorch, Scikit-learn and OpenCV
• Experience with NLP frameworks like NLTK, spaCy and Hugging Face Transformers
• Familiarity with web frameworks for serving models (e.g FastAPI, Flask)
• Cloud experience with AWS,GCP or Azure ML
• Containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes
• ML lifecycle management tools like MLflow, DVC or similar
• Strong background in data manipulation (Pandas, NumPy) and visualization (Matplotlib,Seaborn)
• Solid understanding of SQL/NoSQL databases and data engineering workflows
• Familiar with Power BI or Tableau for visual insights (optional)

Educational Qualification:

• Bachelors or master’s degree in computer science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field
• Certifications in AI/ML or cloud AI services are a plus
