Job Description

We are looking for a SeniorData Engineer (experience range 3 5 years) to design, build, and optimizescalable data pipelines and models that power analytics, reporting, andbusiness insights. You will work across engineering, product, and data teams todeliver reliable, high-quality datasets and modern cloud-based data platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Build scalable batchand streaming pipelines using Python, PySpark, and SQL.

Develop and maintainETL/ELT workflows and data ingestion frameworks.

Design dimensionaldata models (fact/dimension, star schema, 3NF).

Write and optimizecomplex SQL transformations for large datasets.

Ensure data quality,validation, lineage, and governance best practices.

Tune Spark jobs andSQL queries for performance and cost.

Work with AWS services(S3, Glue, EMR, Lambda, Step Functions).

Implement CI/CD,testing, and production deployment of data workflows.

Monitor, log, andtroubleshoot data pipelines in production.

Participate inarchitecture discussions and drive technical decisions.

Collaborate withanalytics, product, and data science teams.

Mentor juniorengineers and promote best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

3-8 years of experiencein data engineering or related roles.

Strong Pythondevelopment experience.

Advanced SQL(analytical queries, performance tuning).

Expertise in PySpark(DataFrame API, RDD concepts, optimization).

Solid understanding ofdata modeling for OLTP/OLAP.

Proven ETL/ELTpipeline design experience.

Cloud experience (AWSpreferred; similar GCP/Azure OK).

Knowledge of datawarehousing concepts and distributed systems.

Git and CI/CDexperience

Strong debugging,optimization, and problem -solving skills.

Ability to work withlarge-scale datasets.
