Job Description

The Accounts& Finance Manager is responsible for end-to-end financial management,statutory compliance, business finance control, and financial reporting. Therole supports strategic decision-making by ensuring financial discipline,accurate reporting, robust controls, and effective coordination with business,operations, sales, taxation, and audit stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

1. Financial Accounting & Reporting

Oversee complete books of accounts including GL, AP, AR, fixed assets, inventory, and provisions
Ensure timely month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closure
Prepare and review balance sheet, P&L, cash flow statements, and MIS reports
Analyse financial performance, variances, and key cost drivers
Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data in ERP systems

2. Budgeting, Forecasting & Cost Control

Lead annual budgeting and periodic forecasting exercises
Monitor budget vs actuals and highlight deviations with actionable insights
Drive cost optimization initiatives without impacting business continuity
Support EBITDA improvement, working capital optimization, and profitability analysis

3. Statutory, Taxation & Compliance

Ensure compliance with Companies Act, statutory filings, and regulatory requirements
Coordinate with statutory auditors, tax auditors, internal auditors, and consultants
Ensure timely closure of audit points and implementation of controls

4. Treasury & Working Capital Management

Manage cash flow planning of creditors and fund utilization
Oversee receivables, payables, credit evaluation, and customer limits
Support channel finance, receivable risk control, and overdue management
Liaison with treasury for LC, BG, and other instruments

5. Business Support & Cross-Functional Coordination

Partner with Sales, SCM, Service, and Operations teams on techno-commercial decisions
Support pricing, margin analysis.
Enable growth initiatives with strong financial governance
Drive process improvements and ERP discipline across functions
Preparing Annual and monthly AOPs and presentations
Preparing Price lists and Scheme documents Distributor policies
