Role & responsibilities

Experience in the erection and commissioning of Port cranes, Gantry and EOT cranes.

Installation of trolley rails (boom hinge) in RMQC and port cranes.

Carry out inspection, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of Port cranes, EOT cranes

Execute preventive and breakdown maintenance at customer sites.

Prepare condition assessment reports for existing cranes.

Identify upgradation and refurbishment requirements.

Support commissioning and testing of refurbished cranes.

Ensure compliance with safety standards and statutory requirements.

Identify opportunities for Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMC) and service contracts.

Promote crane refurbishment, modernisation, and retrofitting solutions.

Conduct site surveys and prepare technical inputs for quotations.

Convert service visits into repeat business and long-term contracts.

Maintain strong relationships with the Operational Team, maintenance managers, and purchase teams.

Prepare service reports, visit reports, and technical recommendations.

Maintain records of customer equipment, service history, and contracts.

Coordinate with internal teams (design, procurement, service execution).

Support negotiations and contract finalisation when required.

Strong knowledge of crane electrical systems including PLC.

Strong technical troubleshooting skills.

Basic understanding of commercials, costing, and contracts.

Ability to identify and convert service opportunities into business.

Preferred candidate profile

Good communication and customer-handling skills With EOT Crane Knowledge.

Willingness to travel extensively to customer sites.

Self-driven, result-oriented, and service-focused mindset.

Experience in industrial and port crane maintenance contracts.

Exposure to modernisation/upgradation projects.

Familiarity with manufacturing plants, steel plants, warehouses, aluminium smelters, ports, or heavy engineering industries.
