Job Summary:

 

The Commercial Finance Manager will play a critical role in driving data-driven decision-making and supporting commercial strategies through robust financial analysis and reporting. This position requires strong financial acumen, advanced Excel skills, presentation skills, and the ability to interpret complex data sets to provide actionable insights.

Working hours will be between 2PM-11PM, remote option available.

Role Objectives:

  • Enhance data-driven decision-making across commercial operations.
  • Improve pricing agility to support competitive positioning.
  • Strengthen customer and product governance through accurate reporting and analysis.
  • Core support to US front end, at the commercial ops team.

 

Key responsibilities:

  • Sales & Pricing Analysis:
    • Consolidate and analyze sales trends, pricing performance, and margin impacts.
    • Provide actionable insights to support pricing strategies and commercial decisions.
  • Customer Governance & Reporting:
    • Monitor customer fill rates and service-level compliance.
    • Prepare governance reports to ensure adherence to contractual obligations.
  • Product Performance Reporting:
    • Develop product one-pagers summarizing key financial and operational metrics.
    • Support product profitability analysis and lifecycle management.
  • Order & Contract Analytics:
    • Analyze customer order patterns to identify efficiency opportunities.
    • Maintain and track contractual and bid files, ensuring compliance and timely updates.
  • Commercial Support:
    • Assist in bid preparation and pricing proposals through financial modeling.
    • Partner with sales and operations teams to optimize commercial performance.
    • Maintaining the win/loss tracker.
    • Reporting weekly sales performance along with major variance and coordinating with sales team to capture reasoning for under/over performance.
    • Assisting in the preparation and updating of budget
    • Working very closely with cross functional teams
    • Other ad hoc support
  • Forecasting:
    • Working closely with marketing to prepare and update the customer contractual file.
    • Assist marketing with forecasting and implementing a tool to track accuracy.
  • Automation:
    • Play a key role in automation of:
      • Sale trend, including pricing and contract formulary
      • Governance around sales performance
      • Tracking daily orders (pre-/post invoicing)
      • Bid management file
      • Product one pagers
      • Live sales performance dashboard
      • Monthly IMS Dashboard
      • Order release, excluding EOM products
  • Chargeback dashboard with internal & external media to ensure the proper execution of strategies

Job Requirements

Educational Qualification

CA/MBA in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related fields.

Experience

Above 4  years

 

  • Strong financial analysis and modelling skills.
  • Advanced Excel proficiency (pivot tables, complex formulas, data visualization).
  • Familiarity with SAP or similar ERP systems (preferred).
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
