Job Title: German Language Certified Nurse

Summary

We are seeking a German Language Certified Nurse to join our healthcare team in Mumbai, supporting our global healthcare initiatives within a leading IT Technology & Services Management MNC. This role is pivotal in delivering high-quality, culturally sensitive patient care to German-speaking individuals accessing medical services through our international patient programs. The ideal candidate will combine clinical excellence with advanced German language proficiency to ensure seamless communication, patient comfort, and effective coordination across multidisciplinary medical teams. By bridging language and cultural gaps, this professional plays a critical role in enhancing the patient experience and supporting the organization’s mission to deliver cutting-edge digital healthcare solutions across Europe and Asia.

Responsibilities

Provide professional nursing care to patients in alignment with hospital protocols and medical guidelines.
Communicate effectively with German-speaking patients and their families regarding treatments, procedures, and care plans.
Assist physicians and medical staff during examinations, procedures, and emergency interventions.
Monitor and document patient health status, including vital signs, symptoms, and responses to treatment.
Maintain accurate, confidential, and up-to-date medical records in compliance with healthcare standards.
Ensure patient safety, dignity, and comfort throughout all stages of care.
Serve as a language and cultural liaison for international patients during admissions, consultations, treatments, and discharge.
Educate patients and families on medication regimens, post-care instructions, and preventive health practices.
Collaborate with cross-functional healthcare teams to deliver coordinated, patient-centered care.

Requirements

Requirements:

B.Sc. Nursing from a recognized institution.
Valid Nursing Council Registration.
German Language Certification (Minimum B1 level; B2 preferred) from a recognized institute (e.g., Goethe-Institut or equivalent).
Minimum 3 years of hands-on clinical nursing experience in a hospital or healthcare setting.
Fluency in both German and English (spoken and written).
Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, multicultural healthcare environment.
Strong documentation, record-keeping, and attention-to-detail skills.
Compassionate, patient-focused attitude with excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in international patient care or medical tourism.
Prior experience supporting German-speaking patients in clinical or hospital settings.
Additional certifications in critical care, emergency nursing, or specialty nursing fields.
