Job Description

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Embedded & Audio Hardware

Design Engineer with deep expertise in both digital and

analog electronics. In this role, you will take a leading

position in the design, development, and validation of high performance audio hardware, including digital audio

processing platforms, precision analog output stages, and

embedded system integration.

You will work closely with firmware, software, and product

development teams to deliver audiophile-grade products

with exceptional performance, robustness, and

manufacturability.

Key Responsibilities:

Circuit Design:

Design and develop high-performance digital and analog audio circuits, including DAC/ADC stages, analog output sections, low-noise power supplies, and precision clocking systems.

PCB Architecture:

Architect and deliver multilayer PCB designs optimized for audio quality, noise isolation, signal integrity, grounding, and EMC/ESD compliance.

System Integration:

Collaborate with firmware and software teams to integrate hardware platforms with embedded operating systems (Linux / Android-based environments).

Component Selection:

Evaluate, select, and qualify components such as DACs, op-amps, precision oscillators, LDOs, regulators, and other audio-grade components.

Testing & Validation:

Lead prototype bring-up, testing, tuning, and validation, including measurements of THD+N, SNR, jitter, noise floor, and system stability.

Design Workflows:

Perform circuit simulation, schematic capture, and full PCB layout workflows using Altium Designer.

Requirements Definition:

Define system-level hardware requirements, interfaces, and integration strategies across multiple subsystems.

Documentation:

Produce comprehensive engineering documentation, including schematics, BOMs, manufacturing guidelines, test procedures, and calibration methods.

Production Support:

Support production and manufacturing teams with debugging, root-cause analysis, yield improvement, and quality optimization.

Continuous Learning:

Stay up to date with advancements in audio electronics, digital interfaces, embedded platforms, and industry best practices.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Electronics Engineering, Audio Engineering, or related field.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in digital and analog audio hardware design.

  • Strong proficiency in Altium Designer and multilayer PCB development.

  • Knowledge of digital audio interfaces such as I2S, SPDIF, USB Audio, HDMI ARC/eARC.

  • Strong understanding of analog audio circuit design and low-noise power systems.

  • Experience with microcontrollers and embedded systems.

  • Knowledge of communication protocols like UART, SPI, I2C, and USB.

  • Hands-on experience with lab equipment such as oscilloscopes and spectrum analyzers.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience designing consumer or audiophile audio products (DACs, amplifiers, audio streamers).

Familiarity with Linux/Android audio frameworks and device drivers.

Experience with DSP platforms or audio processing algorithms.

Knowledge of networked audio or streaming technologies.

Strong collaboration and communication skills.
