Sr. Consultant - SAP BASIS

Reporting Structure Reports to Program Manager SAP

Education: Bachelors degree in engineering

Experience/Qualifications

1. Experience in Previous SAP implementation(s) is a must

2. Experience required in enhancement and management of SAP environment (ECC, BW, DMS, Solman 7.1 and 7.2 NetWeaver 7.5 Portal, Web Dispatcher, Solution Manager 7.3 and S4HANA) based on Oracle, HANA and Sybase database.

Further experience is required on following:

a. Operating System (Unix/Linux, Windows Server)

b. Storage and Backup (Symantec NetBackup, EMC, TSM)

Industry Preferably from a Technology, ITES, Shared Services or Banking organization

Responsibilities

1. Advice, Design, Develop or Enhance the in-house SAP Architecture

2. Provide technical project management for SAP installation, platform/datacentre migration, upgrades, vulnerability patching and deployment support

3. Perform daily monitoring and provide necessary actions/advice to ensure the high availability of critical areas with regards to database and application servers

4. Perform preventive maintenance activities, role creation, modification and full trouble shooting

5. Carry out SAP Transport migration

6. To implement SAP Client copy, OSS notes, kernel patches, support packages, add-ons, and SAP component upgrades

7. Perform SAP Database administration and support data migration activities

8. Monitoring User sessions, work processes, update records, lock entries and client copies

9. Respond to and resolve tickets on technical issues related to SAP Platform within defined SLA’s

10. Manage and monitor Storage, backup and restoration process

11. Responsible for Monitoring, reporting, and controlling server usage

12. Perform SAP Licensing- identify inactive user, user classification and prepare system measurement result for audit team

13. Responsible for closure of compliance paras related to SAP infrastructure

14. Ability to multi-task, prioritize and execute on assigned deliverables

15. Able to work with diverse team, spread across multiple geographical locations. Good with technical documentation, able to work under pressure with minimum supervision and within agreed deadline.

16. Aligning the application with bank IS policy and data centre requirements

Certifications (anyone)

SAP Certified Technology Associate - System

Administration certification (preferred)
