Designation: Assistant Manager


Department: Finance


Location: Mumbai, Andheri East - Western Express Highway


Job summary :


  • Posting the vendor invoices in SAP on a timely basis.
  • Ensure all transactions are supported by proper documentation and approvals.
  • Accounting the bank entries on a daily basis in SAP
  • Ensuring the proper accruals of expenses, bonus, leave encashment etc at every month end in SAP
  • Posting the salary journal in SAP
  • Doing the FA capitalisation in SAP as and when new asset is procured.
  • Co-ordinating the inventory verification and ensuring minimum discrepancies are found.
  • Monitoring trade receivables.
  • Keeping a timely check on the inventory and stock write-offs.
  • Preparing the schedules & reconciliations for statutory audit and quarterly limited reviews.
  • To do the month end closure activities in SAP in line with the timelines prescribed.
  • Co-ordinating with foreign finance counterparts in a timely manner for receiving the information.
  • Keeping a check on intercompany transactions and payments.
  • Raising the debit notes within the group for the cross charges.
  • Creating the new GL accounts, Cost centres etc in SAP as and when required.
  • Monitor open items and follow up on pending transactions.

Skills and requirement :


  • Bachelors degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 56 years of experience in accounting or finance operations.
  • Hands-on experience with SAP (FI module preferred).
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and journal entries.
  • Good knowledge of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and General Ledger processes.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Good communication and organizational skills.
  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA.
  • Exposure to month-end closing processes.
  • Experience working in a shared services or corporate finance environment.
